We are happy to announce that our redesigned A3Short size women’s gi pants are now available. Based on customer feedback we felt there was a missing option between A2Curvy and A4. It was time to get rid of a slow seller A3 and make A3Short size for curvy, average height women. A3Short is a roomy pant with a shorter inseam and fits women who are in size 14 (US size) pants and about 5’5”-5’8” tall. First color in stock in A3S is navy, white and black to follow.
I’m a size 16/18 in women’s – what size hi pants would work for me?
A3Short fit best if you are in size 14 pants, 16-18 needs A4 or A5.
This was probably a good move. At 6’0″ 185 lbs, A3 was still too big for me while A2T fit just right. I’m 165 now and my Fenom A2T remains my favorite gi.
I’ve just re-entered the jiu-jitsu world, and while I was given gi pants by my gym with my membership, I feel like they are too big/too long for me. I am about 200 lbs, and 5’1/5’2 ish. Would the A3 short work for me? I wear a size 14 in “Torrid” size jeans, usually an 16 in “standard” jeans.
You would need A4 size if you are size 16 in regular jeans.
Hello! I am a curvy woman with very short arms and legs, trying my best to purchase my first gi. I typically purchase a size 12 petite jeans. I’m about 180lb and 5’8″. I’m typically a size M/L for long-sleeved shirts, but always have to roll up the sleeves (I recently measured my wingspan to be ~58″, if you can believe it!) How would you advise for curviness and short stature?
Hi! I am in the same boat. I’m curvy, about 150lbs, and 5’3”. I’m typically a size petite L. I’m trying to decide whether to purchase size A2 and have the length taken in or go with the A1C, which I’ve tried in the past but the jacket lapels don’t overlap enough. Any ideas appreciated!
