So we seem to have created a nice little buzz in our local community. We’ve also been fortunate enough to make new customers out of some of you. It’s a wonderful thing to be involved in something you absolutely love – and we love Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We, like many of you, view the practice of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a life altering experience because it forces us to face our deepest fears with a clear path to overcoming those fears. It’s about exerting yourself physically while under mental and emotional pressure, with hopes of coming out on top.  Principals applicable in every aspect of life.

So why don’t more women and girls participate? There are dozens of reasons why. We choose to recognize these reasons but focus on why women and girls should. Over the next few months we’ll be posting information on a few initiatives we’re working on under the Fenom Project flag – all designed to bring more women and girls to the mat.
